Open skate
- Join us at the Thunderdome for extra track time to practice your skills and skate at the iconic Thunderdome!
- The open skate is for 18+ skaters, all genders.
- Pre-mins to experienced skaters welcome. If you are pre-mins you will have been skating with your league for at least 6 weeks.
- Need kit? Send us a message and we’ll check we have your size in skates and pads.
Scrim with Rainy
- The scrim is for all 18+ skaters adhering to the WFTDA gender policy with 4+ games experience to advanced.
- Please bring your own scrim tops with your number on in black and white.
- Join our B, C or D team and show the purple track what you’ve got!
@ the Thunderdome
Our home venue is entirely run and managed by Rainy City Roller Derby and all ticket sales go directly to supporting the league. It’s easy to get to by public transport or car, just next to the Oldham tram stop, or off junction 20 of the M60.
