Who’s ready for another year of top notch roller derby at The Thunderdome?
Rainy City Revolution are kicking things off this January as they take on Nottingham Roller Derby in a pre-British Championships warm up game.
We’re also welcoming new skaters to show off their new skills in a Queen vs Prince Skater Debut before the headline game. If you’ve recently passed your WFTDA Minimum Skills Test and would like to be the champions in a fully officiated game, then this one’s for you!
Timings
- 2pm – Doors open
- 3pm – Skater Debut
- 5pm – Revolution vs Nottingham
Queen vs Prince Skater Debut Info
- WFTDA Minimum Skills passed
- Identifies as a cis woman, trans woman, intersex woman, and/or gender expansive
- 0-3 games experience
- Fancy dress is encouraged!
- Please bring your own white and black tops with your name and number clearly printed on them
- You will receive an email assigning you to a team once you have bought a ticket

Our home venue is entirely run and managed by Rainy City Roller Derby and all ticket sales go directly to supporting the league. It’s easy to get to by public transport or car, just next to the Oldham tram stop, or off junction 20 of the M60.
