We’re excited to finally reveal our new name and logo!
As the sport of roller derby grows and develops, we felt that it was only right that we grew and developed alongside it.
After 8 years, this meant dropping the ‘Roller Girls’ from our name to become more inclusive, and updating our logo to reflect the athleticism and professionalism that our sport is aiming for. There’s also a little nod to The Thunderdome in our logo if you can spot it, as it’s such a big part of our league too.
With a new name and logo also comes great merch! We will have a whole host of amazing new merchandise to show off at our next home game on the 20th February, so make sure you’re there to get your hands on the very first batch.
Oh, and there’s also a small point of BRAND NEW UNIFORMS. As an established league with three competitive teams, it’s only right that we have slick new uniforms that reflect the hard work and dedication we put in every week on the track at The Thunderdome.
As you can see we also have a smashing new website to match, and you’ll see lots of changes in the coming weeks over on social media, and even within The Thunderdome too.
We hope you can agree that this is a move in the right direction for us and we’re really excited for the future of our league.
